So today I visit the local HEB because I needed some laundry detergent. While on the aisle I compare prices as I normally do (not because I'm cheap, but a smart shopper) and I see that the 32 load Gain is $4.97 a bottle. So I'm thinking, "Nice Deal" be it though the Tide 32 is $7.97. And I'm also thinking about how nice it is to get 2 for 10 bucks. Then something clicked in my head and saidto see how many loads I get in each bottle of Gain, and of course it's 32. So I add them up and I get 64 loads all together. Then something said look down and see how much the 1 bottle of the 64 load cost. Low and behold that was $9.97. Now you may be wondering where I am going with all this, so I won't prolong it. This is not a good deal where I am getting the same amount of detergent for the same price even though 1 is in a single bottle and the other is split in half in 2 seperate bottles. Now I can see if the 32 load was like 2 for $6 or even 2 for $8 giving me $2 off. But to try and create it as you are giving me a deal by simply making it seem like the price is a bargin is this a straight shame. Buyers Be Aware and watch when you shop and don't fall for these tricks these stores are trying to spring on you...Even though I Love HEB because they are a good store and reasonable, this particular incident was just one that blew me away.....Buyer Be Aware!
